We cannot say enough great things about our building experience with Cody. From the initial sit down / interview we did with him, to the day we received our keys, and every step in between, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to use him as our general contractor. He not only met our expectations, but far surpassed them in most all cases. He’s very easy to interact with and that means a lot when choosing a builder since you'll be dealing with them nearly every day for months. The biggest thing Cody desires is for his customers to be happy, and if you’re not for any reason he’ll do whatever’s necessary. The biggest tip that I can give to you is to communicate with him. If you happen to notice anything that you may be unsure of during the building process, just talk to him about it and he will always find a solution. Some of the other builders in the area have a lot of homes being built at the same time and we felt their attention was far too spread out to give us the time of day should we need to discuss something with them. Cody is not that way at all, he’s very easy to sit down and talk with and always makes himself available.

I’m a very detail oriented person, and Cody is as well. He is always in constant contact about any unforeseen issues that may arise during construction, as some always do. Cody will not rush through any stages just to get on to the next phase. He makes sure everything is built to specs and exceeds any build codes before moving onto the next step. He only uses quality and professional sub-contractors who take the time to understand your needs and help you to make the best decisions for your desired results. His flooring sub-contractor and finish carpenters are in my opinion the best in the area, they will amaze you with their attention to detail and final product. But when I really think about it all of his sub-contractors are excellent in their given field, you just get to enjoy the finish work on a daily basis. They couldn’t do their job so well without the framers, sheet rockers, electricians, plumbers, concrete crews etc.

Our home was a true custom home with many features that most “cookie cutter” home builders would shy away from, but Cody accepted the challenge and hit a homerun. As far as the construction timeline. We broke ground in July of 2017 and Moved in March of 2018, so approx. 8 months, which was shorter than the original 9-10 months that Cody had originally quoted us. But like I said this was a true one-off custom home I designed myself and at a little over 6,000 sq. ft. with the basement, 8 months was a great surprise to us. I’m sure Cody has pointed you to his business Facebook page which has pictures of our home and many others he’s completed.

We would not change a single thing in our process from choosing Cody to be our general contractor to our home itself which we have been in for a little over a year now.
